ROTC Alumni Battalion

                           A-State Red Wolf Alumni Battalion

For more than 80 years, Arkansas State University has been producing men and women as leaders for the Army. It is remarkable that over 9,000 cadets have participated in the ROTC program at A-State since 1936.

To ensure that the fellowship and camaraderie developed during our years in the program continues, an A-State ROTC Alumni Battalion has been formed. The goals of this organization are to support not only the senior ROTC program at A-State but also our local JROTC efforts.

Members of the Alumni Battalion will receive invitations to the ROTC home football game tailgates, commissioning ceremonies, annual military ball, and other events. Support and participation are vital to the success of this organization.

There are NO annual dues to be part of the Alumni Battalion, though a fundraiser will be held to provide special support for ROTC.

If you would like to make a voluntary contribution to support the Alumni Battalion’s activities, a tax-deductible contribution may be made to the ASU Foundation, P.O. Box 1990, State University, AR 72467.  Note A-State ROTC Alumni Battalion in the memo line.  Or click HERE to make your gift online.

All members of the former Indian Battalion or today’s Red Wolf Battalion are encouraged to sign up to be part of the mailing list. Simply send an email to alumni@astate.edu and include your name/address/telephone. Also include the year you were commissioned at A-State and your Branch, or if not commissioned, include the year(s) you participated in the ROTC program.

The traditions associated with ROTC are extraordinary. With your participation, we can continue to provide this experience for A-State cadets.

A-State Red Wolf Battalion

The A-State ROTC Program is dedicated to developing quality leaders for America's Army. Since the Army holds education as such an important aspect of leadership, it has invested in developing leaders by funding the training needed to facilitate quality leaders. Scholarships and other Financial Aid are available to students seeking higher education.

ROTC Develops Leaders

ROTC has a history of producing top quality leaders who have gone on to hold high paying jobs, public office, and high ranking military positions. Cadets find their full potential and become overall better citizens.
