ASU Alumni Office staff
Pat Edwards is Alumni Relations Director in charge of membership. He is also responsible for fundraising activities which go toward the Cooper Alumni Center through the 1924 Sustaining Life Membership program and other donor opportunities. He works with businesses that offer benefits to Alumni Association members to keep them current as well as adding new ones.  Nancy Hendricks is Director of Alumni Communications. She provides photography and writes Affairs of State, the alumni newsletter; VOICES, the ASU Alumni Association magazine; Inside ASU Alumni Edition, the weekly e-newsletter for Alumni Association members, and the Alumni website. She writes press releases and materials for occasions such as the Distinguished Alumni recognitions, and photographs alumni events. Elaine Poynter is Director of Annual Giving at ASU, responsible for direct mail, e-solicitation, the ASU phonathon, the 1909 Society scholarship program and the faculty/staff campaign. Her goal is for every alumnus to make a gift to the university every year, to support student activities, academic programs, and the ASU Alumni Association. Carol Roberts is Administrative Assistant. She manages the office, handles accounts payable and receivable, prepares reports, handles Cooper Alumni Center bookings and is responsible for the daily activities of the Alumni office. Beth Smith
is Executive Director of Alumni Relations and oversees all alumni activities. She directs the Alumni staff, manages the Cooper Alumni Center, and is the liaison to the ASU Alumni Association Board of Directors, a 34-member board of volunteers who assist in providing the vision for the expansion of alumni programming at Arkansas State.
