The Arkansas State University Future Alumni Network welcomes your interest in the 2005-06 Leadership Board. The board is designed to gather a dynamic group of freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors to plan and implement FAN activities throughout the year. After completing the application below, candidates will participate in an informal interview with current FAN members and a member of the Alumni Association staff.
Please complete the following application and return it to the ASU Alumni Office (Room 115, ground floor of the Administration Building) by Friday, September 16 at 5:00 p.m. Interviews will be held September 22 and 23, and the 2005-06 Board Members will be announced the following week.

Organizational Structure:
Up to 9 board members are selected each spring for the Future Alumni Network. Between 2-4 freshmen positions are selected each fall. The board ideally consists of a variety class years and members can serve consecutive terms. There are five officers selected within the board: President, Secretary, Vice-President of Public Relations, Vice-President of Membership, and 1909 Society Chair. The remaining members serve as general board members and have full voting rights.
All board members must be active, dues-paying members of the Future Alumni Network and must make every effort to attend monthly board meetings and general FAN meetings, and assist with the professional development seminars and other special events held throughout the year. Each board member is allowed one excused absence from a FAN event, including meetings. FAN board members have the opportunity to attend one of two conferences offered each year for Student Advancement Organizations paid for through the ASU Alumni Association.
