ASU Summer Celebrations 2005

  Summer Celebration in Stuttgart was July 14

We had a great Summer Celebration at the First National Bank Building Board Room in Stuttgart on Thursday, July 14.

Special guests Attorney General Mike Beebe '68, Lady Indian coach Brian Boyer and ASU president Les Wyatt joined in for this special evening, as well as TV news anchors Liz Massey '98 and Beth Hunt '01. Incoming freshmen entering ASU this fall from the Grand Prairie were recognized, and a great Bar-B-Q dinner was provided by Craig's BBQ.

The event was sponsored by the Grand Prairie Chapter of the ASU Alumni Association, with support from Barrett Law Firm, Ludwigs Liquor, Riceland Foods and Robin Hagaman. Thanks to all of you - we had a great time in Stuttgart!

Central Arkansas Summer Celebration on July 19

Almost 200 people joined the fun at the ASU Central Arkansas Summer Celebration in Little Rock on Tuesday, July 19, in the backyard of our hosts Dr. Tim and Terri Langford ’84. Our high spirits even chased the rain clouds away!

Special guests ASU President Les Wyatt, head football coach Steve Roberts and news anchor Steve Sullivan '82 (plus a great bar-b-q dinner) made it a fun evening. Incoming freshmen received a free t-shirt and were recognized at the event.
