When talking to out-of-town alumni, we often hear those three little words … "Can I help?"
Here's a great way for out-of-town alumni to be connected with ASU and help recruit quality students for Arkansas State. Just represent ASU at a college fair in your area! It's easy and fun - give out ASU materials, answer a few questions about Arkansas State, give out contact information for anything you can't answer, and mail back the information cards you receive from interested students so the ASU Office of Admissions can recruit those students.
You won't have to deal with scholarships and financial aid, and you'll have ASU viewbooks on hand to answer questions easily. Here's what one ASU alum who participated in an Illinois college fair had to say:
Overall, I think it went really well. There were several students that seemed really excited about ASU. A few of the parents I talked to thought it was great that they were able to talk to someone who actually went to ASU, and one actually reminisced with me, which was great.
We generally have college fair opportunities in the summer, with many sites in Texas and Missouri. Please watch this webpage for upcoming locations.
